Receiving the news that your mother will not be able to attend your wedding day is devastating news. Laurene still showed up and made the best of her day. Everything came together so beautifully and we tossed the timeline out the window so the couple could visit mama in the hospital. In true 2026 fashion, Susan was present via Facetime for the first look with dad and ceremony - I hope the photos from this sneak peek help her feel the electric excitement of the day.
This couple really know how to throw a party! The personal touches and elevated guest experience was one of a kind - just like Laurene and Matt. A reverse cocktail hour turned into the most beautiful sunset ceremony on the lake. The live band - Downtown Collective kept the GREEN dance floor packed while live vocals for the spotlight dances added an element of emotion and beauty.
The catering and desserts prepared by Attitude on Food + Cake Gallery Omaha were absolutely next level! There was made-to-order creme brulle toasted at the table and a CANOLI CART. I’ll be dreaming of this day for years to come.
