Carman and Jake are high school sweethearts. There’s always such wonderful and genuine connection when a couple starts out as friends and decides to take their relationship to the next level. These two had such great chemistry and they are so much fun to be around - just ask their wedding party! Their love story is straight from the song “Big Green Tractor” - their favorite date night activity is riding together in the tractor - baling hay - while listening to music and laughing. Carman loves her cowboy!

The day began at the Catholic church where Carman attended Elementary school. This love story has deep roots in the Catholic faith. Jake even proposed after Saturday mass at the glass chapel Holy Family Shrine.

Carman was absolutely stunning in her dress from Blush Bridal Boutique and makeup by Bobbys and Blush. The couple had the sweetest first look followed by altar formals. Found and Flora designed some timeless bouquets using babys breath, eucalyptus and roses. The pew bows were a beautiful and simple touch that really elevated the space.

After a beautiful ceremony, the newlyweds hopped on the Tailored Dreams party bus. This hilarious wedding party kept things light and fun while taking photos at Pioneers Park. The reception took place in downtown Lincoln at the Ridnour Room. Dj Pink Bunny kept all the kids on the dance floor and the drinks from Ken’s Kegs were flowing. Carman’s signature drink was a Screwdriver and Jake’s was Crown Apple + Sprite. Carman’s Aunt made tons of mini desserts including cherry cheesecake, brownie cookies, lemon bars, and she even make Jake his own pie!

When I asked what their favorite quality of their partner was they replied: “She can always put a smile on my face no matter how mad I am. I also love how hard working she is and how much forgiveness she has for my terrible work schedule.” - Jake

“He never fails to make me laugh and we just have so much fun together. I also love his hard work ethic and willingness to help anybody.” - Carman
