An Elevated Garden Party at Flatwater Acres

What a joy to witness these two high school sweethearts seal their forever! Kenna can light up a room on an ordinary day, so imagine that energy tenfold as she was a bride.

The couple and their entire wedding party got ready in Kenna's parents new barn-dominium build in Central City. There wasn't a dry eye in the room as Kenna's bridesmaids stood close, while her mom helped with all the final touches of her bridal look.

The couple has a private first look and exchanged vows under the shade from a tree near their ceremony space. Kenna's "something blue" bridal party in their mismatched prints and shades of blue was an absolute vision. With a wedding party as lively and hilarious as this bunch, the candid laughs and silly faces filled my camera roll.

The first BRUNCH wedding of my career was beyond my (most excited) expectations! The couple said their vows at 11.30 AM surrounded by their closest friends and family.

In Nebraska, we don't see vast oceans or mountains...but there is magic and beauty in the lakes and rolling hills. Flatwater Acres is lovely and a perfect backdrop for McKenna and Ryan's ceremony. Their tent rental provided shade to their guests during the hot spots of the day and the little breeze whispered clouds in.

Following the ceremony, guests were greeted with a buffet with all the best breakfast and lunch offerings - prepared by Kenna's mothers catering company - Side Street Deli and Catering. Matrons of honor Kara and Lexington led the heartfelt toasts to the newlyweds. After some special dances for the couple and their parents, a surprise dance for Kenna's mother invited all the moms and daughters to the dance floor to join them (not pictured - I'm absolutely bawling behind the camera)

This day was full of happy tears and amazing people. Documenting the connection between humans is such a blessing to me. Before we called it it a day,  our beautiful bride changed into an incredibly fun cocktail dress and kicked off the party bus! We hit up some tiny towns around Central City - omplete with Vegas bombs on BananaRams stage and a pizza dinner for this 10/10 party!
